UMMU sends the largest delegation: 11 Students Ready for 5th Batch International KKN Internship in Thailand

Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku (UMMU) is proud to announce the sending of the largest delegation of 11 students to participate in the international internship program in Thailand. The opening ceremony which took place at the UMMU Rectorate Building, 3rd floor, was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector, UMMU leaders, and parents of participants.
The event began with a ceremony singing the national anthem, as a symbol of pride in representing Indonesia at the international level. Followed by a departure report submitted by the Head of the UMMU Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, who explained the composition of the delegation consisting of 2 English students, 2 Psychology students, 2 Health Science students, 2 Law students, and 1 Communication Science student. of 11 UMMU students in this program underscores the university's dedication to fostering a global perspective and increasing the internationalization of its students.
In his remarks, UMMU Rector, Prof. Dr. Saiful Deni, M.Si., expressed his pride for this opportunity. He emphasized the importance of international experience for students in preparing them for future global challenges. "Participation in this international internship program is a golden opportunity for UMMU students to broaden their horizons and knowledge abroad. This is in line with UMMU's vision to become a globally oriented education center," said Prof. Dr. Saiful Deni, M.Si.
This international internship program will take place from 5 February 2024 to 5 March 2024 in Thailand. The students will engage in various activities aimed at deepening their knowledge in their respective fields of study, as well as broadening their horizons in a global context.
One of the highlights of UMMU's participation is seen in a Symposium and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three leading universities in Malaysia. The signing of this MoU will be witnessed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, which will be held at Rajamangala University Bangkok on February 05, 2024. In addition, students will also be involved in international internships that will provide valuable practical experience in a global environment.
UMMU is very proud of this opportunity and is committed to continuing to expand international opportunities for its students. By sending this largest delegation, UMMU confirms its position as one of the universities committed to the internationalization of higher education in Indonesia and more specifically the best in the North Maluku-maluku region.
